How to log into the Mud Bay app:

Link the app to your in-store account with your phone number!

  1. Download and install the Mud Bay app from the app store by searching “Mud Bay”
  2. Click the ‘Create Account’ button
  3. Enter a mobile phone number and tap “Next”
  4. Verify your account via SMS
  5. A text message will be sent to the mobile number provided in step 3 for verification. Tap on the link in the message to verify the phone number provided
  6. Set up email address and password in the app

What can I do with the Mud Bay app?

Our free mobile app connects pet owners to their in-store purchase history, tracks reward progress for Frequent Buyer programs and allows Mud Bay shoppers to manage their personal and pet profiles. The app is also a fast and easy way to check gift card balance, locate a nearby Mud Bay store, or get in touch with our customer support team.

Frequent Buyer

What is Mud Bay’s digital Frequent Buyer program?

Many of Mud Bay’s manufacturing partners offer Frequent Buyer programs that are available digitally at Mud Bay. By providing your phone number at checkout, you can earn rewards for your qualified in-store purchases with our Frequent Buyer partners.  

Once you’ve earned a reward, you can redeem it on your next visit to any Mud Bay store. If you already use your phone number at checkout, you are automatically enrolled in our digital Frequent Buyer program. To make things even easier, you can also download the Mud Bay app to view your rewards progress.   

We are excited about the convenience, including the ability to view your Frequent Buyer progress by program by downloading the Mud Bay app.

How does Mud Bay’s Wet Food Frequent Buyer program work?

Every participating manufacturer has their own program details, which can be found here. In addition to the 5% volume discount you receive when you purchase 12 or more cans, you can also earn Frequent Buyer rewards from participating wet food manufacturers when you purchase a case quantity.

The key details:  

  • Customers must purchase a full case quantity of a single product within a single transaction to qualify as a case purchased.  
  • Customers can purchase an unopened case of wet food or purchase single cans/pouches that amount to that product’s full case quantity. 
  • The case quantity varies from brand to brand. For some brands, a case equals 24 cans, while for others, it is 12. If you have any questions, please ask a Muddy and they can help determine that product’s case quantity.  
  • Customers cannot mix and match flavors, textures, or can volumes within a brand to equal a case quantity. For a purchase to qualify, it must be a full case quantity of a single product with a single transaction.  

How do I sign up for the Frequent Buyer Program? 

If you use your phone number during in-store checkout, you are automatically enrolled in our digital Frequent Buyer program!  

To make things even easier, you can download the Mud Bay app and enter your name, phone number, and email to view your account. It is free to join and will give you the most up-to-date access to other new features as they become available. 

Can I log into the Mud Bay app with my online store account? 

Not at this time. Presently, the Mud Bay app is a separate service from our online store (mudbay.com). The app is linked to in-store accounts and allows access to in-store purchase history, rewards, and pet profiles.  

To use the app, link your account with the phone number used for in-store checkout, or contact customercare@mudbay.com for email login assistance.  

Please note, the Mud Bay app does not enable online shopping or delivery. 

Does it cost anything to sign up for Frequent Buyer?

No, sign-up is 100% free. Download the app today!  Mud Bay app .

What brands and products are included in the Frequent Buyer program?

Lots! Most of our partners have Frequent Buyer offers available. To view the digital Frequent Buyer program details please visit mudbay.com/mudbayrewards. 

Do I need to download the Mud Bay app to participate in the digital Frequent Buyer program? 

Downloading the Mud Bay app is not required to participate in our digital Frequent Buyer program. All we need is a mobile phone number entered during your in-store checkout to get started. 

What are the advantages of downloading the Mud Bay app? 

The Mud Bay app makes it easy to track your Frequent Buyer rewards and keep track of your purchases. 

My phone number is already on file. Do I need to create a new one to earn rewards? 

All customers who use their phone number at checkout are automatically enrolled in our Frequent Buyer rewards program. If you have had more than one phone number or account with us, please note that only one account is created per person. 

Where can I find all my Frequent Buyer account info? 

The Mud Bay app will have your account info and visibility on each qualifying purchase. You can access all of your info by downloading the Mud Bay app. 

If I shop at more than one Mud Bay location will all my purchases be tracked? 

Yes, all eligible purchases made at any Mud Bay location will automatically be tracked. 

What if I have an old email address or multiple email addresses and want to combine my accounts & purchases? 

Please email customercare@mudbay.com and our Muddy Support team will be happy to assist you with merging your accounts. 

If I haven’t been using a paper frequent buyer card to track my purchases is there a way for my past purchases to count towards the new digital Frequent Buyer program? 

Unfortunately, there is not. Qualifying purchases must be made on or after the date the new digital program was activated in stores. Activation in Thurston County, WA was on June 10, 2024, and August 5, 2024, in all other Mud Bay locations. 

I currently use a paper copy of a frequent buyer program; can these be included? 

Yes, we can transition your paper frequent buyer cards to the digital system until June 30, 2025. After June 30, 2025, we will no longer be accepting paper frequent buyer cards.   

Will I be able to earn/use my Frequent Buyer rewards online? 

Not at this time. Frequent Buyer punches and redemptions are currently available for in-store purchases only. 

How do I redeem my Frequent Buyer reward? 

Simply visit your local Mud Bay to shop, and if you have selected a qualified item, let the Muddy know you would like to apply your Frequent Buyer reward to your purchase. Each Frequent Buyer Program has specific program details regarding what will qualify for your free item. Please review program details here.  Download the Mud Bay app to view your frequent buyer cards and progress or ask a Muddy to look it up.

Return Policy

What is Mud Bay’s return policy?

While we hope you’re completely satisfied with the items you purchased, we’ll gladly accept returns of any product you tried that didn’t meet your/your pet’s expectations.

To make a return for an in-store, online delivery, or order-online-pick-up-in-store purchase, please bring the product(s) back to your local your local Mud Bay along with the following:

  1. The original in-store purchase receipt, or order confirmation email
  2. A valid state driver’s license or identification card
  3. The original form of payment used for the purchase/order.

If you do not have your original receipt, or the matching form of payment with you, we will be happy to issue a refund for store credit. For further assistance, you can reach out to our Muddy Support team during business hours here on chat, or by emailing muddysupport@mudbay.com

Buy Online Pick-up In-store (BOPIS)

Where is BOPIS available?

BOPIS is available at any of our open stores during regular business hours.

How do I place a BOPIS order?

Visit MudBay.com to place your online order for curbside pickup.

When will my BOPIS order be ready?

Most BOPIS orders are available for pickup within two hours of placing the order. If you place an order within two hours of the store’s closing time or after hours online, your order will usually be ready one hour after the store’s opening the following business day. We will call or email when your order is ready so you don’t have to wait when you get to the store.

Can I use coupons when using BOPIS pickup?

If you have a coupon, or mail from Mud Bay that has an online code for a discount, simply use that at the time of checkout on MudBay.com and the discount will be applied. 

How do I get a question answered about a product Mud Bay sells?

To get product information and solutions-based product advice, you can chat with our Muddy Support Team at MudBay.com during store business hours. Mud Bay Local Delivery

Where does Mud Bay deliver?

Mud Bay delivers to many of the areas close to our stores. Check our delivery page to see if delivery is available for your zip code.

How do I place an order for delivery?

Visit MudBay.com and at the top of the home page, enter your zip code. If delivery is available in your area, “Home Delivery” will appear to the right of your zip code. If not, a message will appear letting you know home delivery is not available. Buy online and pick-up in store is available on all orders. 

When will I get my order?

Mud Bay provides local delivery 7 days a week. We are proud to offer same-day delivery if ordered before 2PM PST – weather permitting. Orders ordered after 2PM will be delivered the next day.

What is the fee for home delivery?

Home delivery is free with any order of $30 or more. For smaller orders, we charge a $5 flat fee.

Can I use coupons when using home delivery?

Please continue to check back on MudBay.com as we are continuously adding new delivery areas. We are also available on Instacart in select areas if you would like to shop us on their site.

 

 

Online Gift Card Ordering

 

How are gift cards delivered?

Mud Bay gift cards are physical cards that can be purchased online or bought in our stores. We do not offer digital gift cards at this time.

What gift card amounts are available?

Mud Bay gift cards are available in $25 increments from $25 to $200.

When will I get my gift card order?

We mail gift cards by the next business day. All gift cards are sent first class USPS from our Home Office in Olympia, Washington, so delivery times will vary depending on the recipient’s location.

What are the shipping fees for buying a gift card?

All gift cards ship free using first class mail.

Where can I use Mud Bay gift cards?

Gift cards can be used at any of our brick-and-mortar locations. Sorry, but at this time we can’t use them on curbside, online or delivery orders.

How do I return a gift card?

At this time, we do not accept gift card returns.

Special Orders

How do I place a special order at Mud Bay?

We have over 2,000 items available for special order. Just call or visit your local store to place a special order for in-store pickup or curbside pickup.

How long will it take to get my special order?

Special order delivery times vary depending on the items ordered, but most items are available within one week for pickup. We’ll email or text you when everything’s ready for you!

How do I cancel a special order?

If you no longer need the items you ordered, please call the store you ordered from. We’ll be able to process the cancellation over the phone.

How do I return a special order?

While we hope you’re completely satisfied with the items you purchased, we’ll also gladly accept returns of any product that you tried with your pet that didn’t meet your expectations. Please visit your nearest Mud Bay to give us a second chance to find the right solution for your pet.

To make a return, please bring in the receipt or order confirmation email/order number, a valid state driver’s license or identification card and the matching form of payment used for the order for a refund back to your card. If you don’t have a receipt or the matching form of payment with you, we will issue a refund for store credit.

Can I bring my pet to Mud Bay?

We happily welcome leashed pets into any Mud Bay. In fact, many Muddies consider pets visiting our stores to be one of the best parts of our jobs!

Do you offer scales at all Mud Bays?

Yes! We have weigh stations so you can track your pet’s weight at all our stores. If you want to sign up for a pet profile to log your pet’s weight, please ask a Muddy for more information!

Are you hosting an event in my area?

We post about our events in our stores and on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We encourage you to follow us there for the most up-to-date news.

Who do I contact to give feedback about a visit in your stores?
