Gretchen George is a woman on a mission. As the founder of PetRageous Designs, Gretchen’s love for animals and knack for design have been hallmarks of the company’s innovative pet products. As such, PetRageous works from one simple premise: dogs and cats should fit comfortably in their homes.
This commitment is reflected in the whimsical-yet-practical designs of their creations. PetRageous makes it easy for pets and their owners to keep a fashionably trendy and organized pet dining area, have outrageous fun playtime, travel safely together and enjoy stylish, functional pet attire.

Even though PetRageous is located on the opposite side of the United States—just slightly north of Boston, Mass.—they and Mud Bay have shared a commonality that has only expanded as the two companies have partnered together for more than fifteen years. With Gretchen still at the helm implementing her design vision, PetRageous creates wonderful items as varied as food and water bowls, mats, pet clothes, dog toys and even cat caves.
As a natural outgrowth of our long-standing partnership, Mud Bay turned to PetRageous to help us create items for our private label. Our total confidence in their quality, along with the always creative design work makes a perfect fit for our private label food, water mats, bowls and other products
A Commitment to Comfort and Safety
PetRageous is serious about keeping pets comfortable and safe. In all of their packaging, they list the benefits of each item, so pet owners have all the data they need to make an informed choice for their beloved companion.
As well, all items and hang tags feature notes with tips for pet parents, related to the item. It’s all part of the company’s orientation to be a trusted partner in building a long-term relationship with pet owners.
A Caring Approach to Philantrhopy and Giving Back
When it comes time to give back to the community, PetRageous works closely with shelters and rescues to fulfill crucial needs—especially in the clothing category. Many of the nonprofit organizations that they support work with minimal budgets, and are providing a tremendous service for dogs at risk of prolonged exposure to inclement weather.
PetRageous actively works with these programs to provide essentials they need to help serve as many animals as possible. In addition to articles of clothing, they donate toys, beds, and other useful items these organizations in turn provide to their at-risk populations.
