Enrollment in Mud Bay’s digital frequent buyer program and Mud Bay’s App are free and only requires a valid phone number and email address. Customers enrolled in the Mud Bay digital frequent program are responsible for updating their required information to track qualified purchases towards rewards, through the Mud Bay app, or by asking a Mud Bay employee in a store to update. All personal information and/or data collected is governed under the Mud Bay Privacy Policy.  Mud Bay does not sell or share customer information for marketing purposes with any entities outside Mud Bay, Inc.

Mud Bay customers who register a phone number at checkout will begin accruing purchase credit towards Frequent Buyer Program rewards, as stated by the manufacturer, with the purchase of their first qualifying product.

Each Frequent Buyer Program is created and governed by the manufacturer of the product in the program. Mud Bay does not create, own, or govern the rules of any Frequent Buyer Program. Mud Bay’s digital frequent buyer program is the mechanism by which the customer can purchase, track, and redeem rewards as stipulated by the rules of each manufacturer’s Frequent Buyer Program. Each program is different and can change at any time without notice to Mud Bay or the customer. In general, but not always, manufacturers will/may

  • Provide rewards in the form of a free product that is of equal or lesser value than that of the product in the program.
  • Require an email address to redeem rewards.
  • Require all qualifying products to be purchased through one retailer at a time to redeem rewards at said retailer. Customers cannot combine Frequent Buyer Program cards from multiple retailers to earn free/discounted products.
  • Implement an expiration date on Frequent Buyer Program redemption of free/discounted products.
  • Have different programs by species, product type (example: wet or dry food), size, volume, etc.
  • Consider one case (12 or 24 cans) instead of one can, to be a quantity of 1 in their program. Example: Customer must buy 10 cases of product to earn one free case.
  • Exclude certain sizes, types, or flavors of products from their Frequent Buyer Program.
  • Choose to have a Frequent Buyer Program available only at select retailers.
  • Have size restrictions on products that qualify for a specific program.

As of June 2024, Canned products are not currently eligible to be a part of the Mud Bay digital frequent buyer program due to differences in can vs. case tracking.  Can customers are still able to participate in manufacturer frequent buyer programs relating to cans by continuing to utilize paper frequent buyer cards available at all Mud Bay locations.

Manufacturer Frequent Buyer Program rules and guidelines can be found at Mudbay.com/mudbayrewards or on the program card within the Mud Bay app. Program cards will appear as soon as a qualifying purchase has been made.

The Mud Bay digital frequent buyer program is not a credit card and cannot be used as a form of payment. Membership may be revoked at any time by Mud Bay in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions by a Member, misuse or abuse of the Mud Bay digital frequent buyer by a Member, fraud, and/or any other actions deemed by Mud Bay to be contrary to the Mud Bay digital frequent buyer program, the Terms or the interests of its customers or partners.

These terms and conditions are subject to change at any time and without notice.

Mud Bay’s social media is a space for our community to discuss all things Mud Bay, explore product offerings, and connect with fellow pet enthusiasts. We encourage everyone to participate in a manner that is relevant and respectful to the community.

  1. Relevant and Respectful Commentary:
    • Engage in commentary that is both relevant and respectful to the Mud Bay community.
    • We reserve the right to remove comments that do not adhere to these guidelines and may block repeat offenders.
  2. Unacceptable Comments. We do not tolerate the following types of comments:
    • Abusive, harassing, stalking, threatening, or attacking others.
    • Defamatory, offensive, obscene, vulgar, or depicting violence.
    • Hateful language targeting race/ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, or political beliefs.
    • Fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or unlawful comments.
    • Violations of any intellectual property rights.
    • Commercial solicitation or solicitation of donations.
    • Link baiting (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own site).
  3. Q&A and Personalized Support:
    • While we aim to answer questions, please understand that we may not be able to address every comment or post.

These Third-Party Delivery Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to any order placed on MudBay.com (or through any Mud Bay–authorized digital channel) that is fulfilled by an independent, third-party delivery service (“Delivery Partner”). By placing an order for delivery, you agree to these Terms in addition to Mud Bay’s general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. 

  1. Use of Third-Party Delivery Partners

Mud Bay partners with trusted third-party services to deliver customer orders. These Delivery Partners operate independently and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Mud Bay. 

While Mud Bay strives to work with reputable and reliable Delivery Partners, Mud Bay is not responsible or liable for the actions, omissions, or performance of any third-party delivery service. 

  1. Transfer of Ownership & Risk

Once an order is picked up from a Mud Bay store by the Delivery Partner: 

  • Ownership and risk of loss, theft, or damage transfer to the customer. 
  • Mud Bay is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, lost items, damage occurring in transit, or packages reported as delivered but not received (“missing package claims”). 

Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate delivery information and for retrieving orders promptly after delivery. 

  1. Delivery Timing & Availability

Delivery windows displayed at checkout are estimates provided by Delivery Partners and are subject to change. Factors such as weather, traffic, courier availability, and other conditions may impact delivery time. 

Mud Bay does not guarantee delivery within a specific time frame and is not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers. 

  1. Delivery Issues & Resolutions

For issues related to delivery, including: 

  • Delayed or failed delivery 
  • Missing packages 
  • Damaged items upon arrival 
  • Property damage at delivery location by Delivery Partner 
  • Incorrect delivery location 

Customers may be required to work directly with the Delivery Partner for resolution. 

Mud Bay may, at its sole discretion, offer support or replacement options as a courtesy, but is not obligated to do so. 

  1. Delivery Location Requirements

Customers must provide a safe and accessible delivery address. Delivery Partners may leave orders at the customer’s door or another designated location if signature is not required. 

Mud Bay is not responsible for orders that are: 

  • Left unattended 
  • Delivered to the wrong location due to incomplete or incorrect address information 
  • Damaged or spoiled due to exposure to weather or delayed retrieval 
  1. Temperature-Sensitive Products

Some Mud Bay products may be sensitive to heat, cold, or other environmental conditions. When using third-party delivery, customers acknowledge and accept that: 

  • Mud Bay cannot guarantee temperature control during transport. 
  • Mud Bay is not liable for spoilage or degradation caused during third-party transit. 
  1. Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Once an order has been picked up by a Delivery Partner, Mud Bay cannot: 

  • Cancel the order 
  • Modify order contents 
  • Redirect delivery to a different address 

Refunds, replacements, or adjustments due to delivery issues are determined at Mud Bay’s sole discretion. 

  1. Customer Responsibilities

By placing a delivery order, customers agree to: 

  • Provide accurate delivery information 
  • Ensure timely retrieval of delivered items 
  • Follow any instructions provided by the Delivery Partner 
  • Comply with local laws related to receipt of goods 
  • Contact the Delivery Partner for delivery-specific issues 
  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: 

  • Mud Bay disclaims all liability for acts, failures, errors, or omissions of any third-party delivery provider. 
  • Mud Bay is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from third-party delivery services. 
  • Mud Bay’s maximum liability, if any, shall not exceed the purchase price of the impacted items (excluding delivery-related costs). 
  1. Modification of Terms

Mud Bay may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of third-party delivery services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
